Quato introduces HighBrightness Displays for On-Press Softproofing
The Proof View Series was developed for the Softproof and color control directly on the press, the control stand and in stationary viewing booths. In the past, the display´s luminance defined the brightness level on the stationary viewing booth. This results in a luminance much lower than the ISO 3664 requirement for condition P1. Thus, the viewing booth needs to be dimmed and this limits the perception of finest details and tonal response. With the new Proof View 700, the Softproof and the Hardcopy print can be viewed for the first time at the ISO 3664 compliant luminance level. The Proof View 700 covers most of the printing standards with at least 90% coverage. The 700cd/m2 IPS-Pro panel offers an extra wide viewing angle without visible color deviations. Thanks to the integrated UDACT routines, the user can always certify the calibration results just in minutes to make sure that the whole system works perfectly.
The Proof View 700 will be available from the end of Quarter 1/2010 on.
