Quato introduces Broadcast-Monitors
With the new Intelli Proof 240 motion and 260 motion excellence, Quato expands the awarded Intelli Proof hardware calibration technology to video-editing workflows. The unique solutions combine the sophisticated calibration with real HDTV- and DCI-support with a variety of interface like SDI-HD and Component in- and outputs. Additionally, these units can work in real 48hz, 50hz and 60hz via DVI to avoid tearing effects. Both units will be available in Summer 2007.

Quato showcases new Wide Gamut Displays
The specially designed backlights for the Intelli Proof 213 excellence and Intelli Proof 260 excellence allow a 100% match to the ISO 12647/FOGRA 39L based ISOcoated v2 offset printing reference according to UDACT. The ECI-optimized gamut of the 260 excellence makes the monitor a good choice not only for Prepress applications but also for professional photographers. For the first time, contract proof like softproofs and precise color reproduction of dynamic RGB-Data is possible with a TFT. The 213 excellence offers the same precision and technical approach as the 260 excellence but uses a Adobe-RGB optimized backlight and is also perfectly suited for Softproofing and the Adobe-RGB D-SLR workflows of professional photographers.

New iColor Print Version 1.0.5 available
The new and easy to use software for calibrating RGB- and CMYK-Printers is now available in the download area. Icolor Print allows novice users to create high quality profiles pretty fast while professional users have full access to all separation parameters to create profiles for virtually all kinds of printing systems. Therefore this software is especially suited for Photographers, Designers, Press- and PrePress-Professionals. Being a modular system, iColor Print can be expanded in the future by individually selectable feature-sets for certification, evaluation and profile editing. The software is fully functional, including the measure-tool and the gamut-viewer, but saving profiles is only possible with the Quato iColor Print Dongle.

Intelli Proof 213 awards SWOP and UGRA certification
Thanks to the built-in UGRA- and SWOP-certification routines, users can now easily certify the color reproduction quality of their individual display. While the SWOP-certification testifies the workflow and the profile setup, the UGRA Display Analysis and Certification Tool takes a close look at the calibration quality and softproof ability. The UGRA certification is the first institutional approach for non-industry related certification of displays. Both certifications are part of iColor Display 2 and are available for all users of Quato Displays.
